Welcome to Taywood Woodturning Club

Taywood was formed in 1998 and is a branch of the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain. Amongst other aims, our constitution seeks to foster a greater awareness and to promote the art of Woodturning. We as a club hold public demonstrations and exhibitions.Our present membership is now over 50 but unfortunately we are not insured for members below the age of 15. The number of persons attending our monthly meetings at Monifeith which is close to Dundee averages 35. We meet usually on the first Saturday of the month at 2.00pm until roughly 4.30pm. We usually have "Professional Demonstrators" or "Hands On" Days where club members demonstrate and try to assist new members with their woodturning skills.
